Forum member dsanchez has launched a Slowdive database website which many of you might find interesting - and possibly could contribute to:

I would like to invite everyone to join a project I have in mind since some months ago: The Slowdive Database.

It’s a gigography including notes, setlists, publicity from Slowdive, Mojave 3, Televise…

The website is based in a Wiki application, meaning everyone can go and update any information very quickly. If someone is too lazy to do it, there’s my email where I can get any info and I will update it myself

The idea was inspired by the concept at the cure-concerts.de website and the Pulp Wiki.

Mark Radcliffe picked ‘Paint A Face’ as a contender for a Single Of The Week next week. If anyone feels like voting for “paint a face” please do so by emailing Mark and Stuart Maconie at radcliffe.maconie@bbc.co.uk

I think the deal is Mark and Stuart pick 4 trks, play em, and then the one that gets the most votes gets played everyday next week on their Radio 2 show.

Myspace Transmissions concert download

Hello, I don’t post much here but I thought I might point out to you folks that Myspace just posted a great session recording that Neil and his touring band did for their Myspace Transmissions series.

There are streaming videos and streaming audio at the Myspace Transmissions page: http://www.myspace.com/transmissions

You can also download the session in 192kbps MP3, but it looks like the lazy and constantly frustrating Myspace programmers posted the wrong URL, but I was able to deduce where the file would be located by looking at the working URLs for the other Transmissions downloads:
