The Slowdive Database

Forum member dsanchez has launched a Slowdive database website which many of you might find interesting – and possibly could contribute to:

I would like to invite everyone to join a project I have in mind since some months ago: The Slowdive Database.

It’s a gigography including notes, setlists, publicity from Slowdive, Mojave 3, Televise…

The website is based in a Wiki application, meaning everyone can go and update any information very quickly. If someone is too lazy to do it, there’s my email where I can get any info and I will update it myself :)

The idea was inspired by the concept at the cure-concerts.de website and the Pulp Wiki.

Here is an example of the dates for Slowdive

Everyone is welcome to help with this project!

Cheers,
David.

you can read more about this and discuss in our forum here. Please help out if you can :)

  • Thank you, Ed.

Hopefully this project will grown and we will have the most accurate information about Slowdive past gigs.

Btw, some weeks ago I’ve contacted a norweigan guy who sent me a scan of the legendary Oslo show from 1993

  • Is there anywhere one can fine lryics to Mojave 3s’ “Puzzles Like You,” or all the songs on Neils’ “Sleeping On Roads” in one place?
“Truckdriving Man” and Driving With Bert” are driving me nuts. Can’t find a single version to the former, while finding several subtle differences to “Bert” that can change the entire meaning of perhaps the best song I’ve ever heard in my life. I’ve asked various fans on Jango and gone to every link I can find.
I there a central location for the lyrics? Can you assist me in finding these two?
I’ve heard that Neil does different lyrics himself from time to time on “Bert,” but I have to believe there has to be an “offficial” version if for no other reason than out of respect for Bert Jansch.
Help! I would be SO GRATEFUL and do anything I can do to contribute to the sight.

    THANK YOU,
    GEORGE
