Neil recently sent me an update on the band’s recording activities and some info on a couple of up-and-coming solo gigs. Here’s what he had to say:
“Hi Ed,
Hope all is well. Just wanted to let you know what was happening at m3 HQ. The album is coming on well and we reckon we might be finished pretty soon. Rachel is coming down next week to do a few vocals and hopefully we’ll be mixing after that. Will give you a track to upload (or download) when we get something finished.
I’ve been working with Sarah Hepburn, a Danish artist from the band Glorybox. She came down to Cornwall and recorded at the studio. Ian and Al played on the record and I was recording, Dave Naughton who produced Rachel’s record also came to lend a hand (and stayed on to help with M3). The record will beout pretty soon in Denmark – will let you know when we know when.
Also in middle of recording with a band called The Strange Idols.
Got a couple of shows to tell the folks about also:
4th May I’m playin with Jack Johnson at The Stannary in Falmouth and either the 23rd or 24th of july will be playing at the Truck festival in Oxford…this might already b on site…
