Mark Van Hoen who co-produced and mixed ‘Spoon and Rafter’ has a new solo album out, titled ‘The Warmth Inside You’. You can order it via his website Locustsound.com
Additionally, for fans of Slowdive, you’ll also find a different version of his remix of Shine available for download on his site. To quote Mark, “I don’t know if you know the track, but in ’96 I remixed it for the opening titles on a Gregg Araki film called ‘Splendor’. Anyway, I sent him 2 mixes at the time, and (obviously) he chose the one most faithful to the original Slowdive version. The other (previously unavailable) is a bit more abstract, but still features loadsa Rachel!”.
