Mojave 3 to back Justin Rutledge

Shadylane Records are pleased to announce the release of Justin Rutledge’s first album “No Never Alone” on May 17th. It will be distributed by CARGO in the UK and will be available in all independent and chain stores as well as on Amazon.

Justin played with Mojave 3 in Toronto last year and his debut album features the reclusive talent of Mary Margaret O’Hara on ‘Letter to Heather’ as well as a host of some 17 blue grass and country musicians. This strong collection of country soul songs displays a displays a tenderness and subtlety that belies his young age. Already being labelled as the heir to Ryan Adam’s Heartbreaker this album sounds like an instant classic referencing Gram Parsons, Townes Van Zandt and Neil Young.

Neil, Ian and Al from mojave 3 will be playing bass, drums and piano respectively in his band when he comes to The UK next month to play a few shows. Please check it out if you can, should fun..especially since Neil has never played bass before!

love Shadylane
