Last year I had a health scare which had been brewing for a number of months, but finally came to a head in January this year. It resulted in me having an operation to remove part of my thyroid gland due to a growth…happy to say the result of the op was benign and no further treatment is needed, which is a huge relief all round. I am lucky!

Due to the nature of the op, I have been resting and have been unable to sing for a while! My voice is getting stronger, and I will be in fine form soon enough. My solo release dates will be announced when I am ready!

As a result of all this we were not able to go back to North America as planned in February to do a full length tour. At the current time, we are not planning any further touring for ‘Spoon’, but these things can change…we’ll see what happens.

I am very pleased to announce that we will be recording our fifth album over the next few months. We are currently looking at festival dates in the summer, so far France & Spain are looking possible and we are of course, always open to offers…worldwide..anywhere..we’re not fussy.. *:)

We’re really pleased to see that so many people continue to join this site - no doubt the downloads are encouragement enough! Ed does a great job for us all and we are always thankful to him.

For UK residents ‘The OC’ has just started on Channel 4 (Sunday evenings)….. *:)

All in all, we are now looking forward to the year ahead … thanks..
